Building a temporary roadway to access a disabled aircraft is often mandatory because the ground is too soft in most cases to sustain the traffic of heavy vehicles required on the incident scene.
Indeed, after an aircraft incident, Fire trucks are required on site to secure the area, buses are required to evacuate the passengers, fuel trucks are required to defuel the aircraft, trailers are on site to remove the cargo and finally cranes, tow tractors and other heavy vehicles have to get on site to remove the aircraft.

In most cases operators build the temporary roadways with construction material and construction vehicles. This solution is workable but not suitable because it is time consuming, lots of efforts and very expensive.
